OAD(office for architecture and design)was founded by a group of American architects and oversea Chinese architects who were educated and trained in both China and the United States . The company is based in New Jersey , USA . OAD had designed and completed a wide range of project types of varying scope and complexity. The work of OAD includes commercial and institutional buildings, housing, urban landscape, hotel and office interior design.

    OAD's effort is to deliver quality design products and intelligent services that enable our clients to achieve their goals and enrich their building environment.

    OAD's overall philosophy is that each project is unique. A high degree of energy and enthusiasm is devoted to every undertaking project in order to reach a natural solution to each design challenge. We begin with an assessment of each project's physical, social and economical condition, in a process of inquiry, research and analysis frame experiments in material and construction. Drawings, models, and research are the tools that shape each design. We keep close involvement with the construction process and collaboration with consultants, engineers, artists, and contractors to assure the finished quality of the project. This is an art that weaves together both context and contents. Efficiency, intelligence, and beauty are the means and ends of each project. Since our founding, we have developed interactive collaboration with clients.

   OAD （ office for architecture and design ）是成立于美国新泽西州的合伙制建筑 / 室内设计事务所。公司的四位合伙人均从事建筑设计工作十余年，他们都具有美国的建筑学硕士学位及多年的美国著名建筑师事务所的工作经验。其中的华人合伙人又具有中国清华大学或东南大学的建筑学学位及中国著名大型建筑设计院的工作经历。

    OAD 具有美国和中国的注册建筑师职业资格。其合伙人一方面熟悉美国的当代设计理念及最新的建筑工艺技术，另一方面了解中国的国情和文化习惯，掌握中国建筑材料，工艺和施工状况。凭借其双重文化背景及当今的网络计算机技术， 1998 年起 OAD 以与中国设计院合作方式参与中国的建筑及室内设计，并于 2003 年开办了北京设计室。至今， OAD 在中国北京、大连、沈阳等地已完成了涉及多功能公共建筑、教育建筑、居住建筑、旅馆及写字楼室内，景观建筑等不同类型及规模的多项出色作品。
